SAIPH Foot Brace Rail

Standing at an elevated counter or height adjustable desk, or even using most leaning stools while working at a sit-stand workstation can be quite tiring on you’re feet. The SAIPH Foot Brace Rail is designed to alleviate some of the fatigue and discomfort that can arise in these situations.

The SAIPH achieves this by changing how you position your feet. When in a standing position, rather than standing with both feet planted, one foot can be placed on the rail. This simple change in posture eases pressure on the sole of your foot, and encourages blood to circulate more easily through the tissues of the lower leg. This same action also works to provide relief for the lower back. Regularly alternating between feet can provide relief for both feet as well as the entire lower back. The low 3.75" height of the rail lets you easily switch from one foot to the other.

The SAIPH Foot Brace Rail is also beneficial for those who work at sit-stand workstations, and who perch or lean against a seat by providing a place to brace their feet. Bracing against the rail creates a more natural and comfortable alignment of the ankle and permits more relaxed movement of the lower leg muscles. When seated on a traditional chair the 30° side of the SAIPH Foot Brace Rail serves well as a footrest.

The SAIPH Foot Brace provides two angles of presentation, the 30° side more suited to seated or standing applications, and the 60° side which lends itself to leaning applications and stretching of the lower legs.The strong 17" wide rigid aluminum rail can easily bear the weight of the legs and is supported on both ends by sturdy non-marking rubber supports equipped with grip pads to keep the bar in place on both hard and soft surfaces. Raised ridges running the width of the bar can provide a comfortable massaging effect for those who opt to work without footwear.
